Seven groups and two ways in. Which one holds what, so you know where to go when you want something renamed, hidden, or set up for the team.
This guide is being written and will be published shortly. In the meantime, the rest of the library covers getting set up, and you can ask us anything through the Help Desk — onboarding help is free.
It does a lot. User Settings is where you decide how much of it you actually see. There are two ways in. User Settings, at the foot of the left menu.
Or User Settings and Tools, in the menu under your own name, top right.
Seven groups. Here is what each one is for.
Accounting Settings is the books side. Your Business Entities, your Chart of Accounts, your G/L controls, your financial statements and your Invoice Settings. Financial Plan Settings sits just beneath it.
Database and Environment is where your own codes live. Client Types, Client Rating Types and Lead Types. Set them up once, and every list, every report and every Campaign can filter by them.
And underneath, the two that change the most. Custom Labels rename the words the program uses, so the screens read in your language. Custom Views decide what appears in your menu at all.
Campaign Settings holds your template libraries. Email templates and signatures, text templates, messenger templates. Written once, then used from a Campaign, a Workflow, or somebody’s own record.
Send File Settings is where you build a reusable eSignature template, so a document you send often is not rebuilt every time.
User Settings, the group inside the group, is you. Your profile, your plan, your referral link, and the permissions for everybody on your team.
And Dictation and My Voice. This is the one people skip. Tell it your sign-off and your tone, or paste in an email you actually wrote, and everything the AI drafts sounds like you instead of like software. Most of this is set once, and then you never think about it again.
