Welcome to AdvisorCRM

What AdvisorCRM is and who it is for: tax and financial advisors, where the admin around the practice is what actually eats tax season.

What this covers

This is the short version of what AdvisorCRM is and who it is for. If you are deciding whether to bother, or you have just signed up and want to know where everything lives, start here.

AdvisorCRM is where the admin around your practice stops eating tax season. Your clients, their documents, their notices of assessment, and the invoice you send them all live in one place — so the time you get back is the whole point.

What is inside

Your People

Clients, Prospects and Contacts, in one database. Every Task, Invoice, file and note attaches to the person it belongs to.

CRA Tools

Pull a client’s latest Notice of Assessment and deliver it through a secure Send File, named and attached. You sign in to CRA yourself, with your own phone code — nothing here tries to get around that.

Secure Send Files & eSign

Documents go out through a secure link and come back signed, dated and filed against the record — never an email attachment, never a photo of a printout.

Getting Paid

Send an Invoice, take a Payment, and record it, without typing the same numbers anywhere else.

Your Books

A fully integrated General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Bank Reconciliation and Year End, free, permanently.

The part that matters

Ask an advisor what takes the time in tax season, and it is rarely the return itself — it is chasing the notice, typing the same client details twice, and handling confidential material the way a much bigger firm would. AdvisorCRM exists so a sole practitioner can do all of that without the overhead a bigger firm carries.

What AdvisorCRM is not

It does not file returns, and there is no payroll module — it refers T1 and T2 filing to Canadian accountants, which may well be you.

Built for the advisor who is the whole practice, or close to it.

Frequently asked

Does this replace my tax software?

No. AdvisorCRM sits alongside it — the CRA tool fetches the notice and the file delivery gets it to your client. Filing the return itself stays in your own tax software.

Do I need to sign in to CRA every time?

No, once per session. You authenticate with CRA yourself, including the phone step, and then pick each client as you go.

Can I give a team member access?

Yes. You can add Sub Users — each with their own login, and decide exactly what each of them can see and send.
