Print it, sign it, scan it, email it back. There is a better way. The same Send Client a File screen. This time, Send Document for eSignature. Upload the document, and say who signs it.

Sign Order matters when more than one person is involved. One signs, then the next.

Then two decisions worth reading properly. Does the finished signed document go to everyone who signed it, or only back to you. And the Audit Trail. Turn it on and you receive a record of who signed and when, while the Client still receives a clean signed copy without it.

Submit, and you place the fields. Pick the signer, pick a field, then click the spot on the document where it belongs.

Signature, Initials, Date, a Text Box, a Checkbox. And underneath those, fields that fill themselves from the Client’s record. Their name, their email, their phone. Nobody retypes what you already hold. Save Placement, and it is ready to go.

Back on the Client, your eSign documents sit beside the files you have sent. Track shows you where it has reached. Preview shows what the Client sees. And Resend, for when it goes quiet.

If you send the same document often, do not build it again every time. Use a saved template, and the document and all its placed fields are copied for this Client, then opened so you can adjust them.

You build those once, in User Settings, under Send File Settings.
