Invoice Sarah for six hours of consulting.

And there is the Invoice. Charge Type, Services. Details, consulting, six hours at a hundred dollars. Six hundred dollars. GST at five percent, thirty dollars. Total, six hundred and thirty.

So where did a hundred dollars an hour come from? It did not guess it. Your Default Hourly Rate, on the Invoice Settings page. Set it once, for the Business Entity. And if a Client has their own rate on their Invoice tab, that one wins.

That is the difference between a chatbot and something working inside your own books.

Now look along the bottom of the Invoice. Email Invoice sends it. Or Send Invoice By Send File puts it through your secure file transfer instead, if it should not go by plain email.

And open Edit Invoice. Journal Entry History, right along the top. Because an Invoice is not only a document. It posts to your books, and the entry is one click from here. There is a second bit of AI on this page too. Describe more to charge, and it adds the lines.

Add a bookkeeping review, a hundred and twenty dollars. AI Fill. And the line appears. It still says UNPAID. It is still yours to change. Nothing is final until you press Update. It prepares. You approve. Always.
