Sign up in about two minutes. No credit card, no demo call, nothing to install.
Signing up for business software usually means a demo call, a sales email and a credit card before you have seen anything work. This program does not do that. This guide walks you through creating an account, what happens in the first five minutes, and what you should do first once you are in.
There is nothing to install. If you can open a browser, you can run it — on a laptop, a tablet, or your phone.
The sign-up form asks for an email address and a password. That is the entire form. No credit card, no phone number, no company size dropdown, and no “a specialist will be in touch”.
Use an email address you actually check. It is where Invoices you send, replies from Clients, and any notifications will be tied to.
You will get a confirmation email within a minute or two. Click the link in it to verify the address. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder before trying again — requesting a second email is the usual cause of confusion, because the first link then stops working.
Next you enter your Brand — the name you trade under — and what kind of work you do. This matters more than it looks: your answer decides which Chart of Accounts you start with, so your books are already structured the way a business like yours needs rather than being a blank sheet.
You can change any of it later. Nothing here is permanent.
You land on the Dashboard. The accounting is already switched on and free forever. The other modules — CRM, e-Signatures, Campaigns, social scheduling — are there when you want them, and hidden when you do not.
Ten minutes, start to finish. If you only do one thing on your first visit, do that sequence rather than exploring menus.
Use a real email, not a throwaway. Your account, your Invoices and your Client correspondence all hang off it, and changing it later is more work than getting it right now.
Set your Brand properly. It appears on every Invoice you send, so put the name your Clients would recognise rather than a shorthand.
Do not turn everything on at once. It is tempting to enable every module on day one. Start with accounting and Invoices. Add the rest when you have a reason to.
Sign in on your phone too. There is no app to install — the same login works in a mobile browser, which is what you will want for the Business Card Scanner and the Receipt Scanner.
The business details you enter here are not just profile fields. They set up your Chart of Accounts, they appear on your Invoices, and they feed your Financial Statements and Year End reporting.
That is why the sign-up asks what kind of work you do rather than just your name — five minutes of setup means the books are already right, instead of something you have to correct in March.
You are about to put your Clients and your books into someone else’s system, so here is what that means in practice.
Your data is yours. You can export to Excel at any time, and we would rather keep you by being useful than by making it awkward to leave.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. The business model is simple and public: the accounting is free, and we earn from the optional paid modules and from tax filing services. That is the whole of it.
It is built and supported in Canada, which matters if you are filing GST, HST or a T2 and care where your records sit.
The confirmation email has not arrived. Check spam first. If you have requested several, only the newest link works — use that one.
It says my email is already registered. You may have started an account previously. Use the password reset link rather than creating a second one, so you do not end up with your work split across two accounts.
My password will not save. Passwords need to meet a minimum length and complexity. If it is being rejected without an obvious reason, that is almost always why.
I picked the wrong business type. Not a problem. You can adjust your Chart of Accounts afterwards, or copy a different sample set.
Nothing appears after signing in. A brand-new account is genuinely empty — there is no demo data. Add a Client and it starts filling up.
No. The accounting is free forever, and there is no card required to create an account or to keep using it.
The free accounting is not a trial. It does not expire and it does not downgrade. Paid modules are optional extras on top.
A couple of minutes to create the account, and about ten to run through adding a Client and sending an Invoice, which is the part worth doing straight away.
No. It runs in a browser on any device. The same login works on a laptop and a phone.
Yes, all of them — Brand, contact details, logo, and the accounts you started with.
You can set up multiple Business Entities under the one account, each with its own books and its own Invoices.
Signing up takes about two minutes, and there is no credit card.

Your name, your email, and a password.
Then tell us what kind of work you do. That answer matters more than it looks. It sets up your Chart of Accounts with the right structure already in place.
One last step. We send a verification link to your email. Click it. If it has not arrived in a minute or two, check your junk folder.
You are in, and ready to go!
